Once again here I am, ticked off about something else. BIG SURPRISE!

So for a few days I've noticed quite the frequency in angry journals. And I do mean total levels of PISSTIVITY HELL! Why? Because DA decided to up the censor anty and add new mature content filters. What does this mean for artists of DA?

That means you NO LONGER HAVE CONTROL OF YOUR OWN ARTWORK! That's right, you are now on the bottom of the fucktard foodchain. Deviantart has decided, FOR YOU, what is good and not good to view. What is this based on? AGE!

I got news for you DA. When I was 15, I was browsing porn websites at the speed of a 40 year old virgin. I was cranking out tons of pictures, videos, and sex toy websites like they were going out of style. I've seen scat, vore, bukkake, water sports, clowns fucking dead people, dogs humping some chicks from Bulgaria, midgets blowing horses, midgets fucking EXTEMELY OBESE PEOPLE, a dude sticking his head up some woman's pussy, and of course everyone's favorite...goatse!!

I've managed to rack up a list of vile, disgusting, horrible shit at the age of fifteen than most were even aware of in their entire lives. Did it kill me? No. Did it turn me into a sexual pervert? Yes, but not to the degree it's ILLEGAL. Do I kick puppies, do I rape babies, do I go and fly 747's through BUILDINGS? No no and NO!

Whatever happened to diversity amongst the art community? The longer I'm on DA, the more I realize they're just a bunch of money grubbing asshats. Hell it isn't bad enough that showing naked men is a sin to them, now they have to squeeze the iron fist tighter.

What makes this even worse is, if you're seventeen now and on the verge of turning 18...YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR AGE! You are stuck being 17 forever, and can never view mature content for as long as you're on DA. About the only solution you have is making a new account entirely. That wouldn't even be worth it.

I have one friend who can't even view her own goddamn artwork because of her age. Will you elitist fucks give it a rest already?

And here has been my long standing arguement for YEARS on this bullshit.

Where the FUCK are the parents? Why should the rest of us SUFFER so DA can cover their asses in case a parent sues.

You sit them down in front of the computer so you can get them out of your hair. The human body is a WONDERFUL thing. It's sad we have to label artistic pieces as MATURE when it is just a naked woman posing beautifully on a couch. Women have spectacular features. Their curves, their skin, the way their breasts round out. How come it is such a SIN for some silver spoon in ass fartbag to view? I hate to tell you this, but one day they'll see it anyway! You can't hide their eyes from REALITY forever.

A man's body is capable of beauty too. The muscles, the stubble on their chin, and yes even their penis can be a work of art.

Underneath the clothes, EVERYONE IS NAKED. Nudity doesn't always have to constitude as PORN. That means that everytime you take a shower, it's pornography. Everytime you change clothes, it's pornography. If you sleep naked, oh yeah total pr0nage.

As for parents...I understand it's hard to raise a child. I get that. You work, you have to take care of a kid, it is not easy. But if you are SO fucking concerned over what your children view, there ARE tools out there to help prevent them from seeing stuff you don't want them to. Netnanny is a GREAT example of this. Or hell, checking in on them a lot works too. You can't expect everyone on the internet to drop what they like to do for the sake of your child's innocence. It is a two part deal and obviously you aren't helping much. As time goes on, everything is harder to access for the CHILDREN. Oh save the children, spare the children...

FUCK THE CHILDREN!!

The world is overpopulated anyway. If a kid comes across a website with Princess Jasmine taking it up the ass, then blows their brains out, I don't give a fuck.

Know what I think? I think it is time to stand up to DA. If you think this is the last time they'll make a huge change, then you're wrong. Soon enough they'll turn into VCL and make you submit preview work before bothering to accept you. If they think your art sucks, you are not a part of the club anymore.

Then what happens when they prevent mature submissions entirely. Oh yes, all I want to view all day is Bambi and Thumper picking fucking wildflowers.

At this moment in time I am officially starting a petition. I am sick of watching artists lose out because of what some overpaid pricks consider view worthy. This is supposed to be an art site, not an art prison.

-We should be able to post full blown yaoi and yuri. I want to see some dick slapping, goddamnit.

-Penii should no longer be considered taboo and ugly. I want to see cocks galore. I want a fucking cock bouquet, alright?!

-The mature rating should still be in play, because I can see how that would be needed. HOWEVER, not to the nazi ass extent they've got it now. If someone clicks on accept and views it, it's no longer DA's problem.

-Restrictions on art should be demolished entirely. Who are these cock mongers to say what is and is not art? If a gigantic werewolf rips off the head of some jerkwad and consumes it, let it be posted. If a dude takes it in the ass, let it be posted. If a girl gets a face full of muff, LET IT BE POSTED!

DA is supposed to be this widely known art community. Right now, they are showing that less and less.

If these demands aren't met, I say we hit the road. Whether you have a subscription or not, whether you have one piece or two hundred posted...no matter what, just leave. If we want something done, we have to WORK TOGETHER! One voice does nothing, but a thousand can certainly get some attention. There are a ton of great art sites out there for so many, where you can be as creative as you damn well please. So why stay here and settle for this bullshit? I say no more, I am done.

It's time for an art revolution people. Whether you are in your teens or over, show the DA world you are tired of be discriminated against because you happen to draw NUDES. Show the DA world that men are worthy of a spotlight just as much as women are. Make them notice that a dick is as much nudity as a pair of exposed breasts.

I will not deal with such hypocrisy ANYMORE. And neither should any of you. I adore artists, and I admire them more than words can say. You should not be limited, and it's time for change.

So to any artist out there, whether vanilla or hardcore, speak your mind. Let's go!
